Working Lunch
My flat featured on BBC2's Working Lunch on Monday. You can view it on iPlayer here. Start watching at 24:00. Here's the challenge: spot beer related items in my home. You might also notice my beautiful Smeg fridge. I'm rather proud of that.
To head off the obvious question, here's the skinny: friends of mine work at the Beeb. One of them asked if they could use my flat to interview that spiky haired dude about central heating. That's all.

I don't need I-Player to picture your gaff.
Mirrors everywhere, a fake gas-fire
and Phil Collins on the CD-player that both come on with a click of your fingers.
And a large neon sign over the master bed which lights up to read CONGRATULATIONS when the bedroom door is opened.
Oh - and hot and cold running Landlord is the beer theme.
A becks 'Vier' pint glass...well I never
Ive fiddled around with my boiler hundreds of time but just can't get it to run of mini kegs. Whats the secret?
Professor Pie-Tin is officially the star commenter on this blog. Thanks to him I started this day with a laugh, despite having a FILTHY hangover (had a session on the Pilsner Urquell followed by the lion's share of a bottle of shiraz yesterday).
So there's a free pint waiting for him here at The Gunmakers...
Was that Flying Dog on top of the boiler? Do you like warm beer Stonch?
Thanks for the offer of the free pint but you do realise every scrounger who reads this blog is going to come in pretending they're me.
There is only one way to find out - I am able to armpit-fart the national anthem.
Even if they only manage to reach Long Live Our Noble Queen they deserve a free pint anyway.
Glad to see that you left the book I wrote, "A History of South Marine Park", lying about on the coffee table. Why couldn't you have asked the spiky-haired one to wave it about in front of the camera?
Hi papastonch.
I'm not sure how many copies you sold but I wonder if, marketing-wise, you might have been better calling it " A History Of South Park ? "
Another good idea from Professor Pie-Tin!!
Why didn't I think of that?
