Working too hard

I'm sorry I haven't posted much recently. The truth is that I've just been working too hard. What's that I hear? The sound of the smallest violin in the world? Business is booming (good thing) and I'm a bit short-staffed (bad thing) so I've spent most of the last two weeks behind the bar. Gone are the afternoon naps and the cheeky pints in other people's pubs. I've finally cracked and posted an ad on Gumtree.

My dream about working behind the bar at The Gunmakers has been replaced by a nightmare about living in poverty... oh woe!

You were probably too busy to see that the exterior of The Gunmakers could be seen in the final episode of Ashes to Ashes on BBC last night during a car chase sequence.

I remember getting a letter about them filming that scene months ago.

Ashes to Ashes never really appealed to me in the same way Life on Mars did.

yeah..I need to borrow that worlds smallest violin myself when your done with it...thankfully I've still been able to tinker with my Bitter recipe, but not nearly as much as I would like to.

Good to hear business is booming. Whats the best selling ale now?

Cheers,
Brian
